After more than six years of planning, fundraising, and hard work, and thanks to the generosity of hundreds of individuals and organizations, the Korean War Memorial will soon be a reality. The Opening Ceremony will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Monday, August 1, 2016 on the Memorial site, Lincoln Boulevard at Sheridan Avenue in the Presidio of San Francisco. All Korean War veterans, their families and descendants, donors, members of the media, and other supporters and friends are encouraged to attend what promises to be a memorable landmark event. Full details on the program and guest speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
